About Ronnie Canty

Hello everyone and welcome to The Canty Effect website.

The thing about us starts with personal growth, which has been a passion of ours for most of my adult life.

As a chore, I endured numerous years on a quest of self-help and improvement.

I am a Marine and retired police lieutenant, during those years I learned a lot about serving the public.

Since I had a knack for helping others, I maintained that mantra. I earned a B.A. in Information Technology and an A.A. in Business Management for AIU in 2006.

In 2013, I became an IT Instructor specializing in Information Technology Certifications in areas such as Apple, Cisco, CompTIA, and Microsoft.

I successfully taught certification courses at two different accredited Adult Learning Centers.

Currently, I am an author and content creator for this site; RC’s Journey Journal, Good Time To Shine, a Personal Wellness Journey; and The Squirrelly Biker, a motorcycle enthusiast’s blog.

In addition, I am the Founder/CEO of Philanthropic Frameworks, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please visit to learn more at your earliest convenience.

I have always enjoyed computers even when I had to endure low capacity hard drives and dial-up internet. While I am telling my age, that’s okay.

Unapologetically, I am completely satisfied with my journey through life thus far.

Giving back is my focus now!
